[Pansophy] J-8505 Cert. Packages (M:drive to SharePoint Drive) Attachment to INV travelers? SNSPPU

Hi Katherine,
Thanks for your reply.
I'll look into it and see if I can get all of the serial number file uploaded into the matching serial number travelers for each part.
Since not all of the HVs are in yet, I won't be able to close some of the travelers until all of a serial numbered set (FP Head, Shell, HOM Head) are here.

Hi Mike,
Not sure why the files have different numbers of pages but likely just some material certs are on two pages and some are on one, or something like that. Some of the HV are also re-using old SNS bellows and some have new, so the documentation will be different. Some HV were leak checked or radiographed twice.
I can see that files are very big. I am not a pdf expert, but maybe doc control can compress them?
Bc we check in the probe head, FPC head, and shell separately, each of these document files should end up attached to three inventory travelers (one of each part). We do mix and match during cavity/HV assembly.
Did that answer everything?
Thanks,
Katherine

Katherine & Tom,
I am working on getting the Helium Vessel Certs attached to the INV travelers and noticed that some file sizes have changed between shipments.
Shipment #2
[cid:image001.png at 01D70127.50E1DA10]
Shipment #3
[cid:image002.png at 01D70127.50E1DA10]
In the case of AG, the file size is about 1.2 MB larger, and the page length changed from 128 pages to 136 pages.
Note that I decompressed the zip folders, hoping that would fix the issue, but the decompressed results are shown above.
Because the components of the Helium Vessels where not always shipped as sets, different documents may end up being attached to different components based on which shipment the parts came in with.
Please advise.

Katherine,
The M:drive is fine. It actually makes uploading to travelers easier since SharePoint doesn't seem to cooperate. And since Tom is doing the copy, M:drive is good.
However, if a vendor wishes to send files directly, then the SharePoint drive works better. Especially if this helps procurement.
Thank You!

Where do you want certs? I can put them wherever you want. Right now, they are here: M:\SNS_PPU\Procurement\Certs\Helium Vessels

Katherine,
I know this is very old information but I am trying to clean up my "to do list".
I have copied the files from the M:drive to the Sharepoint drive for SNSPPU.
At the time of the first email, no INV travelers had been created yet.
There is now a traveler SNSPPU-INV-HES and they are uploading one of the certs.
Do all certs need to be attached?
Are more cert packages expected? And can they be put in the SharePoint drive?
Thanks for your help.

Good Morning, Katherine
I received the cert packages on the first HV shipment. It's a big file and I didn't want to e-mail it so I put it here for your review:
M:\SNS_PPU\Procurement\Certs\Helium Vessels
If that's not where you want them to be, just remove them and tell me where they need to go for future shipments.
