Ideally, INV travelers (and part acronyms) would be hashed out along with the INSP & ASSY travelers in the project spreadsheet and entered into the system prior to parts arriving.  However, INV travelers (and part acronyms) are rarely discussed in detail (along with part numbers).

So, in reality, many INV travelers (and some part acronyms) are created when parts are delivered to inventory and we get ready to process them.
