Good. Then, we'll check just the inner-L from the drop down and this will be associated with the FPCSN. Should be OK like that.

On the other hand, please pay attention, ORNL had already a typo in their shipping files. You are not supposed to relay only on the shipping fife, the SNs should be checked directly on the real parts.

Hi Naeem & Mircea,

I am using the FPC Inner Conductor serial number as the FPCSN.  I will not be checking in an FPCICSN (this would be duplication).  The FPCOCSN will be added to the SNSPPU-INV-FPC traveler for reference.

The FPCOCSN should still be recorded in the INV traveler, but doesn't need to be in the PREP travelers or ASSY travelers

Hi Mike,

We want to keep FPCSN in all other travelers related with SNS PPU FPCs.

This will be our drop down menu, and , the user should be able to pick the serial number associated with Inner-L (as in 19E001). ORNL has two serial numbers for the cold coupler:

  1.  one o window assemble - they call it inner-L and has the form 19E0XX. Here you have again the photo with location for this one. We can call this one FPCICSN:[cid:image001.png at 01D6F32F.EA0B7440]
  2.  Another one the outer conductor (Big SS plate) with form 18L0XX. ORNL label this one as outer-L and is clearly stamped. I see you nae it FPCOFSN  (FPC outer conductor).

Form your email, seems you associate again FPCSN with FPCOCSN. This was the initial approach and was rejected:   Naeem and ORNL have a different choice- FPCICSN  (FPC Inner Conductor Serial Number).

 Anyhow, it is great you have ALL serial numbers in the receiving / inventory FPC traveler: for Inner-L, Outer-L and the two vacuum gauges, as they are typed in ORNL shipping docs.

Naeem, do you agree ?

The FPC assemblies serial numbers (FPCSN) have been entered in the database and should be available in drop downs.

A revision to the SNSPPU-INV-FPC traveler is pending.  Once it has been approved and uploaded to Travelers, I will attach the documents that are available and connect the FPCOCSN (FPC Outer Conductor).

Yes, we are going to use in travelers just FCPSN. When clinking on FPCSN, from Mike's drop down will pop-up and everyone , everyone should pick serial numbers for Inner-L  (as  19E001) located on the border of the airside window assembly:

Hi Naeem,

Changing inventory SNS FPC serial number from outer - L ( clean reading ) to  Inner -L ( blurry , difficult to read), will impact all travelers related with SMNS FPCs. You had a cc from an email sent to you last week. Did you clarified this issue with Mike? Mile is recording now all serial numbers as sent by ORNL and recorded on the shipping file.
