[Pansophy] M drive - group permissions are different; dependent on each user's primary group setting

I changed all the groups permissions to be something you all (forehand,powen,you) have.
Now, IF danny or peter create a new directory, I will have to change the group permissions again.
I need permission from Danny and Peter to make their "primary" group all the same.

If it is a directory that you created, then you should be able to add files.

If it is a directory that someone else created, then you may not be able to add files.

You own the directory SNS_PPU_2020 and should be able to create new directories and files.

Which is not true?

Could you please tell me the exact directory that is being accessed?

I have located the SNS_PPU_2020 directory in /sgroup/asd/asddata/CavityTuning/SNS_PPU_2020

Most of the directories are owned by overtonr, but 2 are owned by powen.

What is the problem? I can change some permissions.

The OI dept manages the M Drive - if you need something done put in a CCPR, and may need permission from the folder owner
