I will review ASAP (by later today) and report back. But at first glance it appears to be what I asked for.
Thanks

Yes, I believe that is what Jenord wanted. Thank you for the help.

I apologize for not understanding the “batch mode” for CWI.

I looked at Jenord’s files and each part is inspected separately as a group.

So I have modified the 3 current travelers to each be a batch mode processing.

If this is acceptable we will put the travelers through processing.

Katherine & Jenord,

I have created the attached traveler for CWI for the helium vessel parts.

It is a batch mode with a max of 6 per batch.

Please review and let me know if this traveler will work for you?

SNSPPU-CWI-HELV-R1 will replace:

            SNSPPU-CWI-HEHDF-R1

            SNSPPU-CWI-HEHDP-R1

            SNSPPU-CWI-HES-R1

Hi Katherine.

I will need to have the Pansophy folks to help me with completing the Helium vessel Heads (2 per vessel) and Shell inspections populated into the traveler. As you may remember, as it is now I will be required to attest to each individual weldment by each individual SN (heads & shells). I would like to be able to attest to them by the SN in the shipment batches that I inspected them in (see attachments). I'm hoping the Pansophy team can help with this.

Thanks

Yes, sorry, it's a little confusing. We should have made them serialize everything differently so they didn't try to group them together on the certs. But each SN applies to one shell, one probe-end head, and one FPC-end head. Note that we are mixing and matching here at JLab, so the same SN may not stay together during final assy.

I have these documents. I didn't realize that they were referencing the vessels shells and the heads. The reports only mentioned vessels. I guess they mean vessel in the sense of the three separate completed portions of the vessels (heads and shells). I was thinking heads and shells. Okay, I understand now. I'll be using the same SN for the heads as the vessels. However, just to be clear, I am not validating the Shell to Head field welds. Only the the three components. That operation is a separate issue.

Where can I find the Helium vessel heads documentation package? I have the documents for the vessel and its seam welds. I will need to be able to attach my disposition to a SN for each of them in the traveler. I'm sure I will find that information in the documents.

Thanks.

Hi Jenord, the link to the HV weld travelers are here. (You may need a VPN to access from off-site.)

Thanks,

I have conducted inspections of the He vessel seam welds and heads. I could attest to in the travel. Can some send me a link for the travel?

Hey Folks,

I was reviewing/closing Travelers for the SNSPPU project for the first 5 helium vessels and noticed there were no Weld Inspection Travelers opened/completed. Have the welds been inspected on any helium vessels or HV Heads to date?

Katherine, what is your expectation for weld inspection?

Jenord, do you need any help getting information into the system?

Thanks,

JF
