I would like to be on the NCR list so that I can stay abreast of the issues and resolutions. Kirk Davis was on the NCR list for the L2 production cavities and was the person that cleared many of the NCRs. I expect him to have the same role in HE.

Could you please replace Ari Palczewski  (Ari has left the lab)  in the HE Cavity Travelers -with  John Vennekate (hannesv at jlab.org<mailto:hannesv at jlab.org>)   based on Katherine's message below (includes  travelers like  L2HE-INSP-CAV, VTA etc. )

I assume that with Katherine being the CAM, that her name would also be a back up for NCR /Traveler approvals

Katherine - I assume you will be letting John know ?

I agree with everything Tiffany said.

We are making John V the SOTR, but he will primarily be responsible for physics-level technical issues (such as participating on the cavity technical board).  As you know, Charlie starts phased retirement June 1, and will be moving away from HE work.  Tiffany will be providing valuable support in overseeing the day-to-day movement of the cavities, and I will be coordinating and problem solving as necessary.

Good morning Anne,

I believe that Katherine is the SOTR.  I am just helping get the cavities moved through the work centers since I am on site most days.

I have an email between Katherine, Ari, and myself about the measurements needed for these cavities though.  The traveler is L2HE-INSP-CAV.

-          295 and 331 had an inspection done as part of the L2PRD project and so do not need another full inspection.  These cavities need a visual and de-mag measurement only.  Use a D3 on the L2HE-INSP-CAV to document what measurements were done and that the previous data is in the L2PRD-CAV-INSP-CAV travelers - TRAVID #97 for CAV295 and TRAVID #113 for CAV331.

-          040 has not had an inspection done as part of the L2PRD project and so a full set of measurements are needed for this cavity.  It appears that a L2HE-INSP-CAV traveler was started for 040 but no data has been entered. I believe that some of the fields in the L2HE-INSP-CAV traveler will not be able to be filled out since the cavity is not straight from the vendor.  This should be noted in the D3.

Any additional L2PRD cavities that we do will follow this same process:

-          If the cavity had a full L2PRD-CAV-INSP-CAV traveler completed as part of the L2PRD project and the current L2HE RFIN does not show any issues, a visual and de-mag only will be required, and the previous data traveler ID should be noted in the D3.

-          If the cavity did not have a full INSP traveler completed as part of the L2PRD project, the L2HE-INSP-CAV should be filled out to the extent possible and any data unable to be filled in should be noted in the D3.

-          When cavities for the L2HE project begin arriving from the vendor, the L2HE-INSP-CAV traveler should be filled out in full.

I think that you might be the new SOTR for HE Cavities , taking over from Ari ?

If this is the case, could you advise what measurements are needed on the HE Cavities 040, 295 and 331 , and which HE traveler we should be using - my recollection was it was to be only a subset of the dimensions needed for the new production cavities
