Hi Allen ,
Could you send an example of what you are referring to - I began wondering after responding if you are referring to the new shipping form .
Please note that there always will need to be an inspection done at receiving to check for shipping damage , and do a "count" to confirm all parts were received .
The quality inspection is more detailed, typically includes measurements and may happen much later depending on work loads
Thanks Anne

Hi Allen –
In the past we have kept the inspection travelers separate from the receiving travelers , so my vole would be to keep then separate
I have put Aaron & earl on copy in case they have comments

Subject: C100R Inspection Travelers
Anne,
We were reviewing several C100R receiving inspection travelers; C100R-INSP-HELV, C100R-INSP-HESB, and C100R-INSP-HERB. We were concerned that they were a bit long and went past their scope as receiving inspections. It could get complicated with getting information from the people who run it. John Fischer is confident he can get his people to come to him, but what are your thoughts with the dimensional Inspection? Would you rather pull it into a separate traveler, or leave it as is?
Allen
