[Pansophy] NCR Request

Jacob,

I have been working on a R13 of the NCR to include a link to the Nonconforming Product procedure and to include definitions on pages 2 and 4. I want to make sure I get all necessary changes in before releasing a new revision. I know that in 5.4.1 Acceptable parts of the procedure, the responding engineer is supposed to provide a justification to why the part is suitable for use and I recall in meetings that that is often not being done. Does this need to be automatically required?

Tiffany,
I think it's a good suggestion. Here is the location for the relevant documents in the NCR Program, SRF-12 Nonconforming Product (Jacob H) (jlab.org)<https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-51245>. Just the procedure should be linked as the reference in the NCR form. The link will persist through future procedure revisions because I "upload new version".

Also, if you go up one level from the NCR Program link, you will see all the QMS Processes with their respective documents. This might be helpful for other activities you do such as writing documents, calibration, vendor management...etc.

Hi everyone,

Would it be possible (maybe for the next revision of the NCR traveler) to include the definitions for the various Disposition states to Page 2 and Page 4 (or at least as a hyperlinked Reference on Page 0)? I'm currently working on C100R NCRs but I'm sure it would be helpful to others as well. Each time I need to respond to an NCR, I have to dig back through messages / emails to find the slide Jacob presented a while ago on what each disposition state meant - and it would be a nice time-saver to just have it on the screen when I need it.

I see that there is a procedure in the References for the NCR traveler (C100R-NCR R12) but that procedure looks like it might be out of date or at least doesn't seem to give guidance on the Conforming status.
