[Pansophy] First Rev of Shipping Form ready for testing

Minor suggestion, in the italic text under other instructions, you might add that if there is no SA form & Mike needs to create one, the requester can add the project & org in the comments there.  In which case the recipient box also needs an address.  If there is already a SA form, not sure recipient info is needed.

I agree with Jacob's recommendations with the following changes/additions:

  *   "Project (other)" should come after the "Shipping Project" dropdown
  *   Shipping Project dropdown needs an "Other" option.
  *   Remove "Shipping Component"
  *   Remove "Component SN"
  *   Add table with column headers as shown in the attached document (Section 2). There should not be a limit to the number of rows, but can be 10 if a limit is required. Perhaps an "Add Line" button?
  *   Add comment box for "Item Preparation Instructions"
  *   Add comment box for "Shipping/packaging Instructions"
  *   Add comment box for "Other Instructions"
  *   Add comment box for "Recipient name and phone number"
  *   Remove Proj Code
  *   Remove Org Code

The word document attached has instructions in italics for all of the steps. These instructions should show up in the relevant area on the form.

When can we expect this to go online?

I am replying to items 10 & 11 below.

10.  I expect that “Project (other):” refers to the Pansophy project that the part is associated with.  The “Proj Code:” is the finance project (part of the POA), which almost never matches the Pansophy project.

11.  The “Org Code:” is likewise from the POA, and will vary based on the type of project, SRFOPS, SRFR&D, MLP, etc.

The Pansophy form looks quite a bit different than the word file (attached). When I use my email address in EMAIL ADDRESSES:, then select “Update”, I get the error screen. When I select “Submit” only some changes are saved. A few quick comments….

  1.  Shipping Forms: Will you have an OP/CL indicator? I think a table, similar to NCR OP/CL with links to the form, will be easier to navigate than this pulldown.
  2.  Shipping Form Date: I don’t know why this is selectable. Maybe just the date stamp of the first “submit”?
  3.  Shipping Requestor: I am not in the list. I don’t know why this is selectable. Maybe just pull the username from login?
  4.  ShippingProject: Need space between words. Can the pulldown list be shortened to active projects? There is no “other” option.
  5.  Component SN: This is not a table of multiple rows unknown quantity, including Part/Drawing No. and Item Serial No. How to ship multiple items?
  6.  Attach Files: Multiple files?
  7.  JLab Shipping Authorization Number: Make the box the same width as other text boxes to see a pasted URL.
  8.  JLab Return to Vendor Form Number: Make the box the same width as other text boxes to see a pasted URL.
  9.  SRF NCR Seq Number: Make the box the same width as other text boxes to see a pasted URL.
  10. Proj Code: I think this was requested by Mike. Will it ever be different than Shipping Project?
  11. Org Code: I think this was requested by Mike. Will it ever be different than SRFOPS?
  12. Additional Notes Need colon to match others. Is this text box intended to cover Item Preparation Instructions, Shipping/packaging Instructions, and Other Instructions? Separate boxes are preferred, as they are likely directed at different people/workcenters.
  13. EMAIL ADDRESSES: Make lower case to match others. How to list multiple email addresses?
  14. Close Form, Close Date, Close Person?
