Hi Valerie,
The acronym was changed when we transferred to AUPPS from AUP. This exists in a completely different operational area and should not be affected by the older project. This works correctly in the other two travelers (AUPPS-FAB-HHOMFT-ASSY and AUPPS-FAB-FA-ASSY) but not in the traveler I mentioned in the email. Please make the changes to allow the new acronym to be used ASAP. The traveler is currently in use and cannot be filled in correctly as the other ones have been.
Thanks,
Naeem

Naeem,
There was not a typo, but rather you changed the serial number acronym.
We were following AUP’s nomenclature.
When were the ACRONYMS Changed? And why?
Having different acronyms for the same part and drawing is not good practice.
Please discuss acronyms with me before making these sorts of decisions as they impact the software systems.

Hello,
There is a typo in AUPPS-FAB-VHOM-ASSY, Step 3a. The serial number entry should be CURNGSN and not the current CURINGSN
Thanks,
Naeem
