Thanks for the heads up, Anne. I was working on putting the finishing touches on the "welcome to pansophy" slides and now I'm working on the status sheets. I will review the travelers when I'm finished, but some will likely go over to Tuesday. Since the R1 is already in pansophy, I will wait to change the names around until I route for approval, but I will make a note to do so.

Allen

Hi Allen

I have made no changes to the master list (that I know of) - safest to go to the one in Docushare - for the WG, although Aaron did all the work, he is fine to have Scott listed as the author , with Aaron as reviewer . It should simply be added to the list as one of the travelers not approved

Assuming it went in today , you can likely come up with a reasonable due date (example 3 days for Pansophy team to check it over - then perhaps up to a week for approvals since some people might be out ?? or if you have a better idea as the "default please go ahead with this)

FYI- Tony felt that the Pansophy team should be able to review in under 3 days as opposed to 6 days (Valerie was aware of this already, I don't know if she communicated this to the team yet - )

Regardless there definitely needs to be an update - there are a number of people not here any more - the same applies to C75 , I sent a note to Tony asking how he wants to proceed for both C75 & C100 - I suggested to him that since the CEBAF projects are already SRFOPS people we could use one of the meetings to go over the names and update (will see what Tony says - or if he wants a separate meeting ), so it would be good to have the latest version in Docushare in case he wants to discuss in the meeting

One approach is to group them according to work center - then ask the work center lead to suggest the names - as an example Bill Clemens is retired a long time ago from EBW - however I am sure that Ed Daly could suggest the names (likely Adam O Brien) without a special meeting

FYI- Tony is out on Medical Thursday morning - - hopefully he is back in time for the C100 meeting

Please let me know if you have any questions - or we could have a quick call if needed in Valerie's absence

Best wishes

Anne

Hi Anne,

I can't speak for Valerie on this, she's out with a headache last I heard, but I had a quick question about the masterlist you attached. Have you made any changes to it yet? I'm making the week's status sheets, and I need to know if I have to change anything regarding the C100R masterlist I'll be running off of.

Allen

Hi Valerie

I followed up with Aaron who is changing the name of the author to Scott as you suggested , and is finishing the changes requested . FYI- on the original C100 WG travelers Brian & Aaron were listed as the author, which is why Aaron assumed he should make the changes . The Traveler should appear in Allen's folder soon to be routed for approval

The Master List still shows Kurt Macha as the author for a number of travelers, so does not seem to be up to date - Since C100/C75/C50 /C20 Project meetings are really just SRFOPS folks I am wondering if we should request a quick review of the authors /reviewers ? Do you want to ask Tony or should I do this ?

Thanks Anne

Anne,

I understand that Aaron is listed as the author of this traveler, however this should be written by an SME or TR and not the inspection people.
The SME/TR have a better understanding of what "complete" means in regard to an inspection.
As well as knowing what drawings and other references, including procedures, are required.
This would require more research on the part of the inspector to complete as compared to the SME/TR.

Aaron/Earl should "review" to ensure their understanding of what is to be done, but they should not be responsible for putting together these travelers.

Just my 2 cents.

Hello Valerie - Thank you for the feedback - Hopefully the Pansophy Training (starting Feb) will include this type of information. Also could the Pansophy Team please add this revision to the C100R Master traveler List for Work Control Documents so that it is not missed in Tony's C100 Project Meeting. That way the due dates /authors reviewers etc can be discussed in Tonys C100 Project meeting if needed.

FYI- this is one of the travelers that was badly out of date with drawings from more than 10 years not showing the welded flanges as an example - so there were quite a few revisions needed - Kurt Macha updated the drawings and never did anything about the traveler(s)

Aaron since you are the author, - could you please make the changes , and return the updated document to the folder link sent by Allen earlier this week so it can be routed for approval. In the meantime as was requested by Tony in the C100 meeting this week, please complete the inspection today & put the photos in the M Drive to be available for review

Thanks everyone, have a good weekend !

Thanks Anne

Anne and Scott,

The Pansophy Team is sending the C100R-CAV-INSP-WGD-RCYC-R2 traveler back to you for corrections.

Anne - as Inspection Work Center Lead and

Scott - as the responsible SME for WGDs

You need to correct this traveler and review for accuracy and completion.

Several things will not allow this traveler to be processed through our system

1. The traveler is in the old template, which you can tell by the NCR Emails section replacing the NCR Informative, Dispositioner, and D3 Emails sections.

2. The emails had spaces between them which is not allowed, but they were removed them while reviewing.

3. Fieldnames have been modified from R1, if you compare the new revision to the previous, the fieldnames have been altered. For the sake of datamining, they need to be reverted back to their previous iterations.

4. There were a large number of double spaces in the traveler. As a reminder, double spaces will show up as error symbols in pansophy. These have been removed in the attached document, but it is something to look out for.

Our current code is unable to upload travelers this traveler.

It will need to be transferred into the current template and the above corrections made before routing for approval.

If you have any questions, please send them to pansophy at jlab.org<mailto:pansophy at jlab.org>.

Thank you for your time,
