HI Ashley,
There may be a case where we would need your support to process an NCR. It would not happen without some email or verbal discussion.
Hopefully you can be a back up to a back up.
Thanks,
Ed

All,

The NCRs on this traveler are non-standard and will require communication with ORNL. This communication is generally done by Ed or myself, but it wouldn't hurt to have another person on the list as a back-up.

Thanks,
Naeem

All,
I do not think I am qualified to be a dispositioner on this NCR, I should be added as informative.

Hello,

Could you please swap out Mike Drury as an NCR dispositioner on SNSPPU-CMTF-CM-ACTS with Ashley. Direction from Mike is below.

Thanks,
Naeem

Reopen the NCR's and let Naeem or Ed deal with them. From now on, the testing team will not be closing out NCR's that they have generated.

Mike and Mike,

NCRs with a USE AS IS disposition require a technical justification – especially when they are written against a missed acceptance criteria. The NCRs 540, 545, and 546 will need to be reopened by the Pansophy Team so you can add final comments on the last page. You will need to request them to be reopened as they need to log the requestor and reason for the request.

The comments on the last page of the NCR must include a justification of why ORNL should accept an item that doesn’t meet their criteria (e.g. the measured warm beamline vacuum level is sufficient because ???”. The comment must also include an indication that ORNL is informed of the condition (e.g. email or a description of a verbal agreement such as “Verbal acceptance by ORNL in Friday meeting on Jul ??”. Also, the NCR regarding the limit switches may be a repair/Conforming disposition as ORNL has resolved the issue completely.

If you wish to discuss, I can reschedule a meeting for tomorrow or later this week. It should only be 15-30 minutes and we can fix the NCRs during the meeting.
