Uttar,

I copied the directory Nb3Sn from Macha's area to M:/asd/asddata/Nb3Sn

Please try there and see if you can read files.

If the computer center added you to the srfdpt "group", then you should be able to get into that Macha directory.

The permissions were set differently, so you will have to try to copy the files and let me know if you can.

Now, I can actually change permissions on those files, whereas before I couldn't.

So try and let me know.

Hi Valerie,

Thank you!!

Particularly, I am looking to access the "Macha" folder that has all the drawings related to the Nb3Sn project. Can I use M: as well? I would like to move some of the folders in that drive.

Best,
Uttar

Uttar,

What folder in srfdpt area do you need access to?

Is this related to a particular project you are working on?

Sorry about the delay, but I have been working with the computer center to get the correct access to the drive and permissions.
