Am going to set up a meeting for later this week for you, Joe and I to discuss the QA-QC traveler and discuss including magnetic field measurements into this traveler for simplicity and having one vs two travelers to cover all work scope.

If the travelers/reports would be similar as 12GeV, then it’s just a matter of upgrading travelers to the new template, naming convention and what changes you need to make for data input.

We have a document coordinator, Allen Samuels, who can help with this.

For reports, we would upgrade to fit the new travelers. Our new contract programmer, David Parham, can help do this part.



 I will send a list of old travelers and you can let us know what you need.

Timewise will depend on number of travelers. Figure approx. 1 day per from our end.

Hi, Valerie,



We have a large magnet scale project coming, a year or so out. With four families of magnets for the EIC project. For something in a similar traveler vein as the SPQA magnet quad inspection travelers/12GeV magnet upgrade style travelers, that will be needed for the project.



Could you provide an early guesstimate of how long would take, recourses required and when would recourses be available to work on a project of this nature. We are in early discussions but this time and work scope has to be added to budget proposals.



Can you please provide some feedback, if you want to meet we can do that as well am open to discuss in whatever detail you might need. Either in person or via computer remote would work as well.
