[Pansophy] Signature for FPC Inspection Procedure

Hi Kirk,

Allen had contacted me about the issues previously, but not as factors that would stop the documents from being approved. I have been in touch with him separately about how best to get them up to date. Unfortunately, they are very old and are written by people who have left the lab. I have not heard a path forward as yet, but I am certain that this is more work than can be covered in the timeline that we are working with for HE. As these are new (ish) rules, I expect that there would be a grace period before non-compliance makes us stop work completely

Thanks,
Naeem

Allen,
I’m surprised that your concerns regarding supporting documentation wasn’t brought up before the approval signatures have been submitted.

Kirk,

If you give your approval, we can move the procedure into production probationally. When Chris returns, he can approve the docushare document and we will upload a new version.

That said, there was a concern I had with the procedure. Many of the referenced procedures go to documents that are noticeably past our periodic review date of 2 years. One of them is also in a word doc instead of a PDF. It would be a good idea to put these procedures through a review to make sure they are still up to date, and that any required updates are made.

Lastly, please send emails to pansophy at jlab.org<mailto:pansophy at jlab.org>, not to a pansophy individual. If for some reason I was unavailable or unable to respond, someone else at pansophy would be able to help instead.

Allen

Hi Allen,

I would like to sign this procedure for Chris. Please help me understand how to do that.

Hi Kirk and Danny,

The revised FPC inspection procedure needs a signature from Chris. I met with Chris (and Tiffany) to go over the procedure on Friday and we went through and made changes together; he gave a verbal approval of the procedure revision in its current form. Could one of you please email Allen and sign the procedure on his behalf since he is out this week.

Thanks,

Naeem
