[Pansophy] C100R Window and Waveguide Travelers

For the C100R-CHEM-COMP-DEGR_R2 traveler:

There is now a MSPR that can replace one of the references (SRF-SMPR-CHEM-NB-ACID). I have made this change and uploaded the new version of the COMP-DEGR_R2 traveler.

However the other referenced procedure CP-STP-CAV-CHEM-DEGR-R3 is still the most current version that is used by several projects. I see two options on how to proceed with this traveler:

1. We can leave the CP-STP-CAV-CHEM-DEGR link as-is. This is a correct procedure - the only issue with it is that it is in the old format.

2. I can substitute the current LCLS-II HE Cavity Parts Cleaning Procedure (L2HE-PR-CHEM-CAV-CLN-COMP-R1). This procedure was written for a different project, but would work for C100R and is in the new format.

I would prefer option 1 as this aligns with the procedure also currently used by C75. Please let me know if this is acceptable.

As a note - Ashley has been working on converting the CP-STP-CAV-CHEM-DEGR procedure to the MSPR format; however, she intends to modify the procedure during the conversion to have multiple smaller procedures instead of the one large one. Because of this modification and the timeline for implementing it, I would rather not have the C100R-CHEM-COMP-DEGR wait for the new MSPRs as I anticipate that we will need the revision to C100R-CHEM-COMP-DEGR in place sooner.

Good to hear. Once they've been confirmed ready, drop in ready for approvals and I'll start the process. If I'm understanding this right, the only thing we're waiting on now is Ashley's response, and responses from the C100R meeting. Things are looking good right now.

I think I fixed the problem with the drawing CRM1207070-0000 in the Collection 55138 folder. Please check that the link now works on all the travelers that reference this drawing.

Thanks!

Thanks for the review Allen! I put my responses in line with your comments below.

I've attached the pdf of the drawing CRM1207070-0000, which should open correctly. When I upload this file to docushare and try to open it though, it opens a blank page. Do you know how to fix this problem? I think if the pdf can be fixed so that it opens in docushare and uploaded as a new version of the file currently saved in this folder (https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-55138 ), then it should fix the link in all of the travelers I uploaded today. I also noticed that this file is in 3 locations within the C100R folders and all three instances of the file open to a blank page.

Tiffany,

I've been looking over these travelers for you. They look pretty good, although I do have a couple of comments.

I'm noticing that extra spaces are being put in to line up instructions with entry fields. This may look like it works in Microsoft word, but it does not transfer over well to pansophy. If you do want to have everything line up, I would suggest creating new rows and putting the instructions and entry fields on that row.

Both the references in C100R-CHEM-COMP-DEGR were written in 2017 and are in the old procedure ID and template. Do we want to do a periodic review on them and update to the latest template? - Sent Ashley email

In C100R-CMA-WINWGD-LEAK, the CRM1207070-0000<https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-262606/CRM1207070-0000%2012GeV%20Waveguide%20Assembly.pdf> link doesn't seem to be working. It will open a new tab in my web browser that looks like it's trying to display a PDF, but it ends up blank. Please check it to verify the link is correct. - See email above

C100R-EBW-WINWGD has the same issue with the same link. As do C100R-EBW-WINWGD, C100R-FURN-WINWGD-ASSY,C100R-INSP-WGD, and C100R-INSP-WINWGD - See email above

C100R-FURN-WBA-BRAZ has some double spaces. Nothing that will cause the traveler not to go in, but they do look ugly. The easiest way to remove them is to go to find and replace (ctrl + h), search for double spaces, replace with single spaces, then click replace all until you come up with zero results. - corrected file has been uploaded as a new version. https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-262702/C100R-FURN-WBA-BRAZ_R1.docx

In C100R-FURN-WIN-ASSY, is there a reason the Reviewer 1 slot is blank? - In tomorrow's C100R meeting I hope to get a finalized list of names for authors, reviewers, NCRs and D3s. It's my understanding only the author + 2 reviewers is required though. Greg and Scott are the experts on this process and Tony is the project manager so those three names in many places covered all of the appropriate reviewers and approvers. After the meeting, I'll update the names as needed on the cover pages before moving the files to the Ready For Approvals folder.

In C100R-INSP-DSRF, the table step 10 is part of is too big. To fix this, right click on the table, select table properties, and change the width to 100%. It also seems to be a bit messed up with what cells are where. You might consider redoing this one. - Corrected file has been uploaded as a new version. https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-262711/C100R-INSP-DSRF_R1.docx

If this seems like a long list, don't worry. The travelers are for the most part good. It just so happens that in pushing a lot of travelers at the same time, the small stuff I'd mostly fix on my own start to add up. Please let me know if you need any help or clarification and I'd be happy to assist. If not, drop the travelers into ready for approvals and I'll review one more time before routing.

Allen

PS. I will not be at the C100R meeting tomorrow, but someone will be subbing in for me.

Hi Allen,

We have been working on revising the window and waveguide related travelers for the C100R project so that they follow the current process and are specific to work centers. All of the travelers for this process have been created and uploaded to the Draft Travelers - C100R Docushare Folder (https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-41006 ).

Could you do a preliminary review of the travelers to see if they have the right format, do not have duplicate field names, and otherwise are correct for converting to Pansophy? Below is a list of the new travelers with hyperlinks to the file in the Docushare Draft Traveler folder.

In tomorrow's C100R project meeting, I plan to give an overview of what the new travelers and process will look like. After the meeting, I will make any last changes (most likely to the NCR and/or D3 names) and then should be ready to move the files to the Ready for Approvals folder.

If you have any questions, just let me know.
