Naeem,

So, from Mike, it seems like those parts fabricated and serialized in-house, send SNs to Mike and we can prepopulate the database.

Hi Valerie,

We have some sub-assemblies like that as well. The travelers list instructions on how to serialize parts that have just been formed from several other (serialized) parts, and what information should be sent to the inventory group when that happens. I haven't tried out this scheme before, so we'll see whether it is effective.

Thanks,
Naeem

Thank You Naeem.

If they will be coming through Inventory, then all is well.

I was concerned about those that are "fabricated" and being serialized here.

Hi Valerie,

A lot of the parts haven't arrived yet. I have them listed and can provide them to Mike D in case he wants to add them in advance

Thanks,

Naeem

Naeem,

I have rereleased all the ASSY travelers for AUPPS with the SN dropdowns corrected.

HOWEVER, many have NO SNs listed in our database. Where are these numbers coming from.

They will need to be added prior to use.

Hi Valerie,

Any update on this? I would like to send parts from AUPPS-FAB-HHOM-ASSY in to CMM while they have a lull in the schedule

Thanks,

Naeem

Hi Valerie,

Yes, I would like them as dropdowns; I apologize for the error. So far, the top serial number for all four travelers (HHOMSN, FASN etc.) have been entered into PRIMeS. All the SNs will eventually be in PRIMeS. A few of the other SNs are also in there already

Thanks,

Naeem

Naeem,

These SNs were put in as <<SN>> rather than dropdowns <<HHOMSN>>.

Would you prefer drop-downs?

Do you have numbers that are being pre-entered into the database? Or going through Inventory?

Hello,

The serial number dropdowns for the AUPPS folders don't seem to be working
