[Pansophy] L2HE-VTA-CAV-VTRF

Adam,

In step 2 of the traveler, the LabViewFile field was changed from a <<TEXT>> field in previous revisions to a <<SCINOT>> scientific notation field. SCINOT fields only accept numbers in scientific notation and cannot take letters and special characters like are given in the example filename. This stuck out to some of the other approvers who brought it up. If you have no objection, I’ll change the field back to a text field and reroute for approvals. For reference, I’ve attached a screenshot of the page. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I was about to say that procedures didn’t have fields.

I’m not entirely sure what’s going on either. It seems that instead of uploading a file, the traveler is supposed to collect the file name without special characters. The revision note does make mention of that. The confusing thing though is the use of <<SCINOT>>. That field should only be collecting numbers in scientific notation, not numbers, letters, and underscores. My thought would be to put a <<COMMENT>> or <<TEXT>> field instead, so you can get the CAV and underscore parts of the file name. Adam, as the author of this traveler, what are your thoughts?

It has been a while since I wrote a traveler, but <<SCINOT>> doesn't seem correct for a file name.
