Hi Adithya,

Without seeing your screen, I'd say look for a drop down that would allow you to change your login option, or something to that nature. Let me know if that works, I might have to edit the instructions to mention that if so.
Also, please send emails to pansophy at jlab.org<mailto:pansophy at jlab.org> directly, or at least CC it, instead of just to one of us pansophy people. If one of us doesn't have the answer, another might. Plus, someone else might be able to get back to you faster. Not something you did wrong, just something to consider.

Allen

Hi,

I was following the instructions on setting up the terminal via PuTTY and I was unable to input my password into the terminal, only my user name. Is there anything I can do to get around this or would I have to restart the process?

Best,
Adithya

Good afternoon Adithya and An,

I've attached our New Employee Orientation for you. It gives a rundown of how pansophy and docushare work, as well as how to login to SRFTerm with either a PC or Mac. You'll work with Valerie to fill out the NEO list to make sure we get everything set up.

Lastly, I added a blank Master Traveler List for your convenience. We are stepping away from using these to keep track of our documents, but they do have a lot of the features that we would like incorporated into TPQC. It was thought that having this would make it easier to explain what we're trying to do. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at pansophy at jlab.org<mailto:pansophy at jlab.org>, or just send the pansophy chat a group message.
