[Pansophy] Traveler Check Question

Naeem,

That is correct. Usually we don't like having a Mach1Tech, Mach2Tech, Mach3Tech, etc. It doesn't tell someone who is datamining what the data they're looking at is, compared to the other fields with the same name. We normally only allow it within a single step, but with how your travelers are set up we might have to do it anyways. I was wondering if you had any thoughts for how to approach this.

Hi Allen,

I don't really have anyone for the NCR informative. You can put in Tony if you really need someone.

I'm not sure I understood your other question completely. Do you mean change out the names like "Mach1Tech" and "CMM1Tech" etc?

Thanks,
Naeem

Naeem,

I have a question about AUPPS-VHOM-ASSY-R1 and AUPPS-FA-ASSY-R1. Neither have an email in the NCR Informative section. Who should be put here? I was also wondering if we would be able to have more unique descriptive fieldnames for all the travelers. Usually we try to avoid sequential fieldnames outside of individual steps. With the nature of this traveler I understand if this is not an option, but I wanted to check and be sure.

Hi Allen,

No problem, I'll make the change on the others. There will only be two more travelers

Thanks,

Naeem

Naeem,

I see your travelers and will get started on them. One thing I want to mention going forward, the traveler title and ID needs to be AUPPS, not AUP-PS. The dash makes pansophy and the uploader think that PS is a Work Center Action and can mess things up. I'll fix the ones you already put out, but in the future I'd appreciate them being AUPPS.

Hi Naeem,

I'm not sure if the Traveler area for AUPPS is ready yet, but the DocuShare area is ready. Go ahead and submit it to the "Ready for Approvals" and Allen will process it when he is ready.

Hi Valerie,

I have the travelers ready for the new AUP area. Can I get the coding on the word files checked while waiting for it to be set up? Just trying to see if anything can be done in parallel.

Thanks,

Naeem
