I couldn't find a easy way to give an error message, but it now will no longer let you type pass the max length of characters.
Hopefully, this way you won't receive error messages.

That will solve the issue, thank you!

This was raw material, for which the part number is really a full description, including dimensions etc. The names can get long. I will truncate them next time.

Would it be possible for something like this to show up as an error on the page, similar to what shows up if a mandatory field is left blank?

Could you please take the following to the machine shop. A vendor will pick it up. The material is under AUPPS. The pansophy shipping form got an error again, but I'll get that submitted when it is working

Please put them in two separate boxes and label the boxes with the dimensions
