Not sure I understand your question, the procedure says test stand not one kind but for all since they are mostly all setup the same, I would be happy to discuss while we have it open on a screen can do in tuning room if you want just let me know. Thanks

Hey Chris,

As Tiffany pointed out to me, the procedure does only cover a single test stand (plus I haven't really scanned it if it is still applicable to our current system).

Do you think it makes sense going through it and potentially revise it, as in adapt to current standards and extend for a D5 load?

Cheers,

John V

Here is the link to add to the procedure, it was written in 2020 so Megan is checking on weather it is usable under the ne system it may need some tweaking. https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-212740/CP-STP-VAA-TST-PUMPSL-R1.pdf

Hey Allen,

Find my versions attached. Both travelers are still missing a link to the slow pumping procedure in their references section. @Chris Dreyfuss<mailto:dreyfuss at jlab.org> wanted to provide that.

Many thanks for the help!

No, sorry, after re-reading the full traveler I realized there are some major flaws. I'll put together a new version tomorrow and will get back to you.

Thanks,

Ok, that backfired.

Let me spell it out more:

@Allen Samuels<mailto:samuels at jlab.org>
1. You need to replace step 3 and 4 in the TSTD traveler with the ones from TSTD5.
And change the 65 to a 100, i.e. "Set the RGA for an analog scan looking at mass 2 thru 100"

2. Next, you need to cut the following fields:
                [[CAVPosition1LkTight]] <<YESNO>>

[[CAVPosition2LkTight]] <<YESNO>>

[[CAVPosition3LkTight]] <<YESNO>>

3. Last, you should change the language and replace "cavities" with "cavity" as TSTD is only for one cavity each.

4. Please also edit TSTD5 so that step 4 reads "Set the RGA for an analog scan looking at mass 2 thru 100"

Thanks,

John V

Thanks Allen. I'll let John and/or Adam review and comment since they requested the traveler revision and are more aware of that's project requirements.

Tiffany,

Here's the L2HE-CLNRM-CAV-TSTD-R3 traveler I created. Please review it and make any changes you deem necessary. If the TSTD5 traveler also needs to be revised, we can make a new revision of that as well.

Allen - Are you able to make the revision to the L2HE-CLNRM-CAV-TSTD traveler as John describes below and route it for approval?

Tiffany,

Could you do me a favor and revise the L2HE traveler for the loading of a single test stand i.e. L2HE-CLNRM-CAV-TSTD?

What we basically need is to bring it in sync with the TSTD5 traveler. The main change is to keep the RAV closed if the cavity comes from the vendor and to close it if the cavity had to be pumped down.

You can more or less copy & paste from TSTD5 step 3 (last sentence) and step 4. (And I just realized that that one still says RGA 1 to 65 instead of 100, we should change that too on TSTD5).

We had not used the TSTD traveler for quite a while but it is being put in operation again!

Many thanks in advance!

John V
