[Pansophy] Pansophy questions

Anne,

We do try to be available as much as possible, especially when in the office, and Allen did send a response that I hope was helpful.
However, Allen is also in the middle of trying to get a very large L2HE traveler into the system as quickly as possible.
I would prefer him to finish this task and then he can take time to work with Kara.
I hope this meets your expectations.

Valerie

Thanks Valerie ,

I had been of the understanding that having a person on site meant they would be available for questions - however I understand that Allen is busy

FYI- , last week I gave Kara copies of the Training slides that are posted on the Pansophy Site - it would be good if additional sides based on Allen's response were added to the training as I am sure this question and others will continue to come up from other new people

We look forward to hearing when your team will run Pansophy training again

Best wishes

Anne

Anne,

I appreciate your desire to get your contractor up and running right away.
However, the team can't just drop everything for training a new employee.
We have a lot of priorities going on right now, as you well know, and you have 2 experts in your team who can help answer these questions.
We will schedule time with Kara for training as soon as possible, but without advance notice of her starting date we don't have all the cycles you need to complete your requests.
We are working diligently to complete all requests in a timely manner, I only ask for a little patience for us to complete.
Thank You.

Sincerely,

Valerie

Anne and Kara,

I might be able to in a little bit, but I'm working on getting a 125 page traveler into pansophy right now. I'll try to answer this question via email. Hitting submit to database will save all data entered on that page (you need to do it for every page). This does not close a traveler however. The only way to close a traveler is to go to the last page, select "yes" on the close traveler button in the bottom right, and hit submit to database. You can see the button in question in the picture below. This button only appears on the last page of a traveler, and only then if there isn't an active holdpoint.

If a traveler is accidentally closed, which happens fairly frequently, you can put in a pansophy service request to have it reopened.

I hope this answered your question. If it doesn't or you have any others, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would also be happy to set up a training session at some point once I've finished with my own training later this week.
