Christiana,

I was able to successfully create a traveler instantiation (#147).
It has CAVSN=5C75-RI-028.
At first I thought it was because you didn't put the 5 before the C75 in the serial number (C75-RI-028), but that wasn't it.
LOL.
Actually, the database system is on a Linux machine and it doesn't like all the WINDOWS Text stuff.
You had some commas in your actions (do this, if needed) as an example.
The system saw this as an additional field.
We have similar issues with apostrophes and such.
I don't have a "fix" for it yet, but if you avoid any special characters other than underscore and dash, you should be okay to go.

I can delete #147 if you don't need it, or you can rename the CAVSN. Your choice.

I tried to use the tool to copy C75-RI-024 process to C75-RI-028 and first it through a generic error message that said error. The second attempt it through a large error which I copied below.

Hi Valerie,
I tried out the application this way.
I selected C75-031 to copy fields into a new C75-021 process traveler. I was surprised to find the fields filled in from C75-031 #113. It is not the first or the last process traveler for this cavity. I am not sure what the algorithm does, but I need it to copy the last closed traveler of the selected cavity number. Otherwise, I am very excited to use this new tool.

I created an ER5C-PROC-CAV Traveler Maker page for you.

You can find it on the menu

TRAVELERS MENU -> TRAVELER TOOLS -> ER5C PROC INST

Hopefully the instructions on the screen make sense, but here is a repeat...

Select CAVSN from the blue area

Hit submit in blue area

The table below the yellow are will be filled with the tasks from the select CAVSN.



Now enter a newCAVSN in the red highlighted cell

Adjust any other Process Tasks in the table

And then hit SUBMIT at the bottom of the page.



This will generate a new instantiation of the ER5C-PROC-CAV traveler with that newCAVSN.

You will see a bunch of strings on the final page, which is just debug information letting you know those values were sent to the database.



I will clean up after you validate it does what you need.
