Hi Kara

In my opinion a D3 would be good to capture the lessons learned. This is a situation where we have multiple suppliers on the same part and in the same traveler - but lack the mechanism in Pansophy to keep track of this - Also, when there is more than one supplier they need to be told in advance what SN to use - then they would come in pre engraved with the correct SN . In the longer term Pasnophy and Inventory are working a solution for this - its just not there yet

Just my two cents

Anne

Subject: BLBU Bellows

Hi All,

The original serials are crossed out on Bellows BLBU SN023 & SN024. Wouldn't this warrant a D3?

I am aware there was a Rev change, but I don't know at what point in the purchasing process it occurred. Nonetheless, an altered serial is never acceptable in my experience with ISO 9001:2015, and it would be a classified as a major finding in an audit. Any serial changes should be done by the vendor with the original serial followed by RWRK-Rev. Otherwise, traceability does not exist.

Any thoughts?

Kara
