Hi Allen,

That's correct, I'm planning on uploading it tonight so it can go out for approvals tomorrow morning.

Thanks,

Matt,

Just to be clear, this isn't ready to go out for approvals, you're just asking people to look over it, right?

Hello all,

Attached is the current draft ER5C WCD, please take a moment to look through any sections for which you are a Work Center/Group Lead and let me know if the selections for signatories on each of the travelers are correct. Many of these names are carried over from older travelers, may have been assumed due to owning a similar traveler for another project which may not correctly transfer to ER5C, and/or may have been assumed from a recent batch but may not own other similar travelers. For example, Aaron is listed as the Author/Owner on many INSP travelers due to his authorship of the most recent batch, but Earl may be a more correct assignment for others.

Another thing to consider, with Chris Dreyfuss's impending departure, do we have someone identified to replace him on travelers? I plan to leave his name in place as long as he is still with us, but we should identify a replacement.

Lastly, the traveler "ER5C-CLNRM-ENDD-ASSY-R2 End-Dish Leak Test Traveler" appears to be performed outside the clean room by Tom Prosper (Typically), should this instead be a CMA traveler?

Thanks all,
-Matt

Hi Matt and all

I the registers currently still show names like Kurt Macha - so I think the register, at least for this traveler should get updated to show the correct names Plus include the names of folks who need to be informed

As an example Gigi is definitely responsible for the cavities - but all the discussions for the Pair Traveler were with Fischer Forehand , Mosby and DeKerlegand etc. etc. so it seems the list of names for reviewers and informative is not complete

So I would propose that we hold on approving this traveler until the WCD Register (at least for this traveler) is correct

Ashely is offering to set up a meeting to discuss the register

Thanks Anne

Hello all,

>From my perspective, I would leave the approval names as they are in ER5C-INSP-CPR as it appears in the "Ready For Approvals" folder, however when submitting the Service Request you can tag myself and Earl so we can sign the routing in DocuShare. In this capacity we both act as reviewers before it is routed, but we would not be filling the role of the approver on the traveler itself.

I'm reviewing the WCD and will be uploading it shortly as well, Allen had asked for that before the break, but clearly I never got around to it.

Thanks,
-Matt

Hi Anne,

I put in the service request with the names (going off rough draft/paper copy from Earl). Should I remove Gigi's name and add Matt Weaks? Also, should I add Earl as well?

Thanks,
Aaron

Anne,

Aaron's version of the traveler is the one out for approval.

Allen uses the names in the document as assigned and any additional names as put in the Service Request.

Aaron and You would need to speak with Matt Weaks if a change is needed.

Hi Allen

I am wondering where you got the list of reviewers and approvers for the traveler you just sent out ?

Matt Weaks is the project Co-coordinator. But his name appears nowhere on this traveler

Also because Earl wrote the program that is being used to populate this traveler he should be a reviewer or on the informative list at minimum - it looks like he was not included on either one

Thanks Anne

Hi Aaron -

Just wondering, were you able to get the C75 Pair traveler into Pansophy for approvals to start ? we might have a pair come as soon as 2 weeks from now - so if its ready we should get it submitted

Thanks Anne

Hi Aaron

I confirmed with Valerie today that while the traveler only has space for 4 signatures, in the Docushare approval routing you can add as may additional people as we like -

So when you put in the service provider request (clicks the wrench) in Pansophy to request the new traveler be routed for approval , you will need to include in this request the additional names who will need to approve the traveler

(at minimum we should include Matt Weaks, Joh Fischer, Danny Forehand .... And perhaps Gigi)

Hi all

Based on Matt's message I would propose the following

Author - George (Aaron) Dekerlegand (no change from current traveler )

1st reviewer - Earl Mosby

2nd reviewer per the ne protocol - WC Lean (Anne)

Approval - Tony Reilly

Very important that somehow the traveler has a final review also from Danny, John Fischer and perhaps Gigi before release - even if this is done informally

I hope this works for everyone

Thanks Anne

Subject: RE: Updates to C75 Pair CMM/Inspection Traveler needed

Hi Anne,

I would suggest Aaron or Earl be listed as Author, with the other serving as Reviewer 1 in their capacity as SME, yourself as Reviewer 2/WCL, and Tony as the final signatory.

Those 4 signatures should cover the requirement for the new protocols, though I would suggest the traveler be circulated among all listed parties (Especially Danny and John) for comment prior to uploading to Docushare/Pansophy. As the "Customer" they have a vested interest in ensuring the traveler collects the data they require and should have input in its creation, but I believe Aaron and Earl serve as SME based on knowledge of the process and experience with the equipment.

For the remaining fields, I believe the existing NCR Dispositioners (Danny/John/Gigi) are accurate, though I would update the NCR Informative to be yourself, Kirk and Tony.

Hope that helps, and please let me know if I can answer anything else,

Thanks,

-Matt

Subject: Updates to C75 Pair CMM/Inspection Traveler needed

Hi Matt

I address this note to you since you are the Project Coordinator for C75. I understand you are reviewing the Traveler "Master List" .

We believe some changes/updates will be needed to the CMM/Inspection traveler for C75 , so under the new rules for authors/reviewers need to know how you want to proceed

Background : In the past we have checked C75 Pairs on CMM1 , where two set ups were needed because the machine was under sized for the job. This week Earl Mosby is programing CMM2 - a much larger machine where only one set up will be needed. We could imagine in future we would mainly use CMM2 for C75 Pairs, although if a large job is on CMM2 (like the 80- inch EIC cavity ), we may have reasons to use CMM1 for Pairs still in future , so will want to keep both machines with full capability to do pairs . At the end of the day, regardless of which machine is used, the output measurements will be the same for the end user

So - my question is who should author, review and approve under the new Protocols ? The experts on the CMM program, are Aaron & Earl (both should at least review the traveler) , the end "customer" likely is John Fischer and Danny . I am the WC Lead, and Tony is the Dept. manager

So I am thinking Aaron and Earl should be author and first reviewer, as they will have the most input ?

I understand from Tiffany it is possible to CC others for information- so am thinking definitely John Fischer needs to be on distribution so he is aware of the changes and can comment , perhaps Danny & others as well ?

Under the new protocol my understand is that the WC Lead (me) and Dept. Manager need to approve as well - Unfortunately there are only 4 signatures allowed -

I expect we will want to start changes after the Thanksgiving break while they are still fresh in everyone's mind , so could you let us know how we should proceed

Thanks Anne
