Tiffany,

I know leak checks are done in CMA area but I have seen stuff get caught up in the work area in the past. We could do

  * C100R-CMA-VT08P-INSP which would have the INSP portion
  * C100R-CMA-FT08P-LEAK for the leak check and it would have a radio button to identify if it was before or after the coldshock.
  * C100R-VTA-COMP-CSHK if the coldshock process is the same for multiple components (a traveler already exists for the HMFT-CSHK and that data can be moved if it applies here).
  * In the traveler there could be a radio to indicate if it has been coldshocked but this could also be handled with the leak check traveler and the inspection traveler in a status board/report since it is performed after a leak check and the leak check would no longer be in the traveler.

I know this seems like a lot but we separated these in the past because we noticed travelers sitting open for a while which we have tried to avoid.

Attached are my responses. This work is primarily done by CMA / lead by Fischer. Liang and I discussed this traveler before she submitted it and I thought that it would be acceptable for this one to stay as a single traveler. For the INV section - we do not have / use INV travelers for C100R; we can discuss whether this needs to change but we would potentially need to look at the impact of that change to other components / travelers. All of the inspections are done by CMA / in the CMA work centers. The cold shock I believe is typically done in the VTA; we could look at potentially combining the VTA component cold shock travelers to make a generic one for C100R component cool downs, but I would still like to see a step in Liang traveler capturing that the cooldown occurred (date/comment).

Tiffany,

I am concerned about Liang's traveler. C100R-CMA-FT08P-INSP-R1.

Will everything be done by Fischer's group?
Will the part stay in the CMA work center?
Is Fischer going to be responsible for moving the part around?

This crosses WCAs..
What was the reasoning behind this?

Also, will and INV traveler be generated?

I put comments in the attached version. Please help me understand. Thanks!

Valerie

Hi Allen,

I have edited this traveler for 8-pin cryo feedthrough inspection for C100R project (C100R-CMA-FT08P-INSP-R1). After discussing with the project coordinator, we think it is in a good shape for approval. It is in DocuShare "for approval" folder now.

Thanks,
Liang
