Mike,

Pressing the 'Tab' key or clicking outside the search box will work. However, hitting 'Enter' after typing a search term is intuitive for users.

Could someone please add an instruction above the search box?

It's not working on my desktop (even after reboot), neither on my laptop which is new. I also asked Matt Weaks to test the search, he is not getting any meaningful results either. Here is the screenshots:

First, I type JL0042398 in the search field:

After I hit ENTER, JL0042398 disappeared and the page content stays the same:
