Hi Mike,
All part numbers and stages of assembly are included in the documents at this link: [cid:b4216d22-2efd-412c-b34b-4bebaa159bbc] 2025-2-14 Rev<https://jeffersonlab.sharepoint.com/:f:/s/EICPartnerProject-TJNAF/Esciha_xqf1Cs4ZYYyKlxH4B6h1R2AHLqTMpaLdLPw9jFw> Open each powerpoint to see the components for each subassembly and their assembly flow charts.
Please let me know if you have difficulty accessing.
Thanks,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

In preparation for the meeting, could you provide a list of the part numbers for the items to be tracked and stages of assembly? This would provide information for Valerie & the team to consider how we might be able to accommodate your proposal below.

Thanks,

Hi Mike and Valerie,

We would like to implement a system for tracking as soon as possible for the crab cavity components. We want to be able to track these components without requiring travelers being filled out at each step, or with very minimal travelers. The primary requirement is that we can pull a report, similar to a status board, that shows when a part enters and departs a certain workcenter. However, with parts being constantly combined into new ones, this adds a level of complexity. We can assign part numbers to use as serial numbers within Pansophy since this is a design verification cavity and there will only be one of each part.

I would like to meet to discuss how we can implement a system that will meet our needs, I'll set up a meeting for us to do so.

Thanks,

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

In a word, NO!

Pansophy is designed to track things with acronyms and serial numbers. Drawing numbers on Page 0 or in Traveler Steps are not data fields in the database and cannot be used for traceability.

If acronyms and serial numbers are available, we do have a few report that may help.

  *   PRODUCTION MENU -> WINWGD FROM C100R
  * PRODUCTION MENU -> STATUS BOARD (MULTIPLE TRAVELERS WITH SINGLE DATA POINT FROM EACH)
  * DATAMINE MENU -> ARCHIVED -> COMPONENT REPORTS (SINGLE TRAVELER AND MULTIPLE DATA POINTS)

It may be useful to setup a meeting to go over options and requirements.

Thanks,

Following up, something like the cav stat last status board:

https://pansophy.jlab.org/pansophy/Production/StatusBoards/C100R/C100R_CAV_STAT_BRDlast.cfm

However, none of these parts will be serialized, they will be various JL numbers that change along the way.

Thanks,

Michelle

Hi Pansophy,

I'm wondering if there's any reports we can pull to track parts during the crab cavity fabrication process. We'll have multiple components going through multiple work centers and need a way to track them as they are welded together to become new parts. I don't know if we have any infrastructure for this kind of process, but I'd be happy to help in the creation of such a system.

Thanks,

Michelle
