[Pansophy] Traveler in Approvals Folder

Larry,

Unfortunately that is how the field works. My suggestion would be to either input the date and time manually, or hit "now" and edit the result to fit the correct time.

Dear Pansophy,

Is there any way to remove the “NOW” button from the fields for

 [[CritLkRateDueDate]] <<TIMESTAMP>>?

There’s no way that the Cal Due date will be the exact moment that someone presses that button, and may cause someone to not fill in the correct, future, “Due Date.”

Is there any way to remove the time of day part from the fields for

[[CritLkRateDueDate]] <<TIMESTAMP>>? Maybe there’s something like a “DATESTAMP”? The Cal Certs don’t have times listed, just dates.

Thanks,

Larry

John,

It’s your traveler, and you’re typically the one who closes them, so I think it’s your call. As long as no traveler gets closed with these fields left blank, we should avoid any more CAPAs.

Thanks,

Larry

I would like to keep it simple and not have a hold point or "required" unless there is a need to satisfy something for ISO.

It would mean that the page, where those data entry fields reside, can't be submitted unless they have values.

Which I don't think is a problem for John, since those values are put on paper copy and transposed later.

So, in this case, it may be a mute point, but could be utilized other places.

Sounds good to me. I didn’t want to go so far as to add a hold point, just for Critical MTE, but a mandatory field sounds reasonable. What would the fields being left blank dis-allow?

John (and Larry),

Do those data entry fields need to be REQUIRED?

This would force something to be entered.

Hi John,

The call-out in step 24 for the Critical Measurement is exactly what is needed for my calibration program, and thanks for helping me develop the template.

My hope is that the use of red ink will remain in the final, online version of the traveler. I’m not an Approver for this traveler, so please let me know if the red ink is not present when you’re asked to sign the final copy.

Thanks,

Larry

Hi All,

I am beginning to add the MTE to our assembly travelers that require it. Here is the first one to be added to the system.
