Hi Allen,

I was only suggesting John B could replace Naeem as project representative.  We need to figure how how to handle the PC being on leave for a long time, I might need to talk to Tony and he's out today.

The rev history on this document says R2, updated template. But the latest template is R3 which R1 on this doc says it was written to, this is wrong.

If I go back to R1 of the PEP, the revision history says "initial release". You did not copy the revision history from R1 into the new document when you updated the template.

I think the document name on this may need to change too, I started a separate email asking about that, but it looks like it was changed in R3 after I started looking more carefully. I'd like Valerie to weigh in on that as Doc Manager.

This project may also change from EIC197 to EIC197DVC, so the name might be wrong anyway.

This needs to be paused until we can answer these questions.

Ashley,

John is already listed as an approver. Since Naeem is listed twice, if we replaced him with John, then that would mean only two people are approving this PEP and John is taking up three slots. That seems a bit much to me. I'd personally suggest finding an interim PC or another person to replace him.

As for your template and R3 questions, I'm a bit confused on that. This is an R2 and the only other PEP in EIC197 is the R1. I also did not do any copying over or major edits of this document. The only things I've done is fixed a couple instances where parts of the SRFOPs acronym weren't capitalized. We could wait on this until Naeem is back, but I don't like the idea of waiting that long when we have a perfectly good PEP ready to go. Your thoughts?

One more thought - if you only changed the template, I think the next rev of Doc management will allow that change without re-approving the whole document.  But that doc that allows that hasn't been released yet... so you might just want to wait until it is.

I think we could replace John B with Naeem as Project Rep, but we may need to name an interim PC while he's out...

What changes were made? R3 is the latest template and it says R1 was on that. It doesn't look like you copied the Rev history over from R1 of the PEP?

John and Ashley,

I was reviewing the EIC197 PEP prior to routing. It looks good, but Naeem is listed as an approver and will be out of office for some time. Do we want to wait for him to return, or should we replace his name with someone else? I've attached the EIC197 PEP for you to review, Naeem is listed twice as both the Project Coordinator and Customer Representative.

If we decide to swap out his name and make no other changes, then let me know who to put in and I'll route. Otherwise, make any changes you need to and put it in ready for approvals.
