All,

We are in the process of distributing all the data stored in the SRFRD traveler to the appropriate project-specific travelers across Pansophy.  To avoid confusion with indexes, I am recording all new data in a private sheet that I will add to the appropriate travelers when they are ready.  You can think of the EBW-COMP travelers as a database of process variables for EBW, not so much a production record as a standard traveler is treated.  The "production record" aspect is handled in the component traveler (in the case of AUP, that is AUPPS-HHOM-ASSY), which is being filled out.

>From my perspective we are in-line with requirements for process tracking, the lack of an approved EBW-COMP traveler for the specific work just means that in-depth data won't be recorded until later.  If this is not acceptable, let me know and I will resubmit with different approvals.

Hi Allen,

The helium leak check procedure is in the document repository.

The pressure testing procedure isn't written yet; the ID can be changed to AUPPS

The chemistry procedure is about to come up to its periodic review date and so I can get it changed to an AUPPS procedure at that time. For the WCD, the ID can be changed and the need date set to 6/1/25.

The information for the EBW traveler is all stored in the SRFRD traveler traveler anyway, along with EBW done for all projects. All other AUP weld information is stored in those travelers. It is my understanding that all the AUP specific travelers would be transferred to this new one once it is online (Adam can correct me). Tony and I are the only others who can sign for this one, and he is out as well. No other work is planned on this traveler in the next few weeks.

Apart from changing the IDs names, is there anything else that needs to be done before routing? Corrected version attached.

Naeem,

I had to make a few changes and would like you to review the WCD before I route for approvals. Among other things, there's two AUP procedures listed in the WCD. Procedures from other projects are not allowed, and these will need to be changed to AUPPS procedures. I also would like to know where the Vendor Standard Helium Leak Check Procedure is located. Since it's a spec document, it should be in the jlab doc repository, not DocuShare.

Lastly, per your previous email, we cannot be recording data in the wrong traveler; especially if the traveler is in a different project. If this will be going on between now and when John gets back, we will need to terminate the AUPPS-EBW-COMP routing and get a different approver.

John, you don't need to approve this the second you get back on-site, but the sooner you do it once you're back, the better.

Hi Allen,

The latest WCD has been revised and is waiting for routing. This traveler isn't in the revised version, but I can add it.

I believe the information for this traveler is getting recorded in other travelers anyway, so it can wait until John is back to sign

Understood, John. Thanks for the heads up.

Naeem and Adam, how do we want to do this? We can either wait for John, or you can give me a replacement approver (I'd recommend a group lead) and I'll reroute with that name.

Also, this traveler is not in the WCD which was last updated in 2023. I would highly recommend that it be reviewed and updated.
