[Pansophy] L2RB cavity travelers - missing Serial Numbers

I would rather not key in the SNs if possible. There is a human opportunity to make a mistake.

Hi Valerie,
My understanding is it's the FPFT field with the dropdown that is causing issues. Inventory doesn't record the SNs when they arrive and CMM is the first workcenter that sees them.
I think it would be easiest if the dropdown could be changed to a text box, Earl and Aaron do you agree?
Thanks!
Michelle

Michelle,
[cid:fb1d3705-e085-4cb3-b2e4-db30f6d15095]

This is the L2RB-INSP-CAV traveler. Which of those SNs do we (SSSG) need to add to the system?
My understanding is the INV doesn't record individual part SNs but only the CAVSN.

Possibilities for implementation:

  1.
Have Earl/Aaron send a service request to add the numbers
  2.
Have the SSSG put a text box where Earl/Aaron can add the numbers and the software can automatically "push" then numbers into the system for everyone down the line.

Let me know which option you would like.

Additionally, do we need to reopen those L2RB-INSP-CAV travelers and add the SNs?

Valerie

Hi Earl and Aaron,
When you next fill out an L2RB cavity inspection traveler, could you please fill out a service request with Pansophy to add the FPFT serial numbers to their drop downs? It's causing some headaches with travelers up the production chain and the first time the SNs are seen are in your workcenter.
Thanks,
Michelle
