[Pansophy] EBW Requests/Satisfaction Form Next Steps

Matt,

Thanks for your approach on this request.     Adam will go into more detail but I'll start a description of what we would like to see and how we can stage it in.


  1.
We now have the Request form which will help in managing the EBW workload.

  2.
In addition to the Request form, we would also like to have the ability to respond to the Request in a Response Form of some design with more than one state:
     *
in the case of a "Feasibility Review" request, Adam would like be be able to reply/document his findings after reviewing drawings/models, etc. on the possible performance requested - whether it's possible, special requirements, etc.
     *
in the case of an actual "Weld Request", Adam would like to be able to document a specific response as to conformance to Customer requests or exceptions to the request, deficiencies, etc. that would affect the outcome.
     *
in the case of more elaborate "Weld Request", we might want to be able to expand the system since right now, the Request only allows "ONE WELD" per form.  So the in case of an assembly, multiple separate Requests must be made.

Right now, all of this activity is perhaps verbal and not well documented, if at all.  We would like to reverse that for the benefit of the EBW workcenter and customers as well.

We think we should "start small" and get something simple that works out and expand over time.      Adam will add detail to this - Adam and you can schedule the meeting.

I would also like to present/get approval of the scope for the next phase of EBW request prior to starting this work.
