Hi Allen,
please see attached. Yes, the furnace workcenter is the correct one.

Thanks,
Gigi

Roland and Gigi,

Attached is the current version of SRFRD-FURN-CAV-HEAT. The approvers as they stand are also fine on our end, but the references still need to be reviewed. They are either old, from other projects, or not linked.

I would also ask that a <<NOTE>> field be added to steps 1 and 2. Both of these steps require special coding, and a note field will alert us to the need during the pansophy upload process. Previous SRFRD travelers didn't have this, and the need wasn't realized until after they went in, requiring us to go back and fix the travelers. The note doesn't need to be complicated, something along the lines of [[add PROJNAME entry to PROJSN dropdown]] for each will be fine.

Lastly, could you confirm that this is in the furnace workcenter and not the cleanroom workcenter? There was some confusion on that, and I wanted to double check.

Allen

Hi Allen,
Roland is the correct person to review the traveler, not Greg. Regarding NCR informative and dispositioners, you can replace the names in the NCR informative box with just Rongli's.

Thanks,
Gigi

Gigi,

Here is the conversation that went down with the furnace traveler. According to them, it is not in their wheelhouse.

Good morning, all,

We received word from Greg that this traveler likely isn't in his workcenter. We think during the process of moving it from STP to SRFRD there was some confusion with furnace when it probably should be with you all. Could you confirm?

If it is in your area, we would appreciate your input and assistance. The traveler is written, but it could use some eyes on it from people who work in its workcenter. There's some issues with the references that need to be addressed (see the comments). We're also not entirely sure about the approval and NCR/D3 names. The NCR informative and dispositioners can't be matching, and we're not totally sure Rongli needs to be involved at this level. If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to send them our way.

Hi Allen,

I have no issues with this traveler but again, technically, this is out of my wheelhouse. The process that is defined in this traveler utilizes equipment owned and operated by Danny F and Roland O. I have no hand in this process and have to defer to them for revisions and uploads.

Cheers,
Greg

Thank you Roland,

Greg, if things are still good on your end, I think this traveler is ready to go out for approvals. Please upload it to the ready for approvals folder<https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-60841> as a new revision and I'll take it from there.

Allen,
The thermocouples are part of the furnace ,we don't do pre scans any more, I don't think pictures are going to show much

Danny And Roland,

I was wondering if I could get your opinions on this traveler. Greg recommended I reach out to you as you're the process owners for cavity heat treatment.

Hi Allen,

This traveler looks okay to me. I believe you have the names correct and for any documentation or references, reach out to Danny F or Roland O as they are the process owners for cavity heat treatment.

Greg

Good afternoon, all,

We're working on creating some travelers for the SRFRD project. They've been ported over from other projects and checked on our end, but we would like to have some more eyes on them. In addition we're not completely sure about the approval names and NCR/D3 names, and there's some reference issues we'd like addressed. As furnace workers, we were hoping you would be able to help with the review. Please review the attached document, make any changes you deem necessary, and upload it as a new version over the one in ready for approvals<https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-60841>. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to pansophy at jlab.org.

Thank you for your time,

Allen
