a) Vacuum leak checks on cold couplers, are mode demanding: during plastic bag check, the two N2 valves should be open, inside plastic bag to check at the same time the cold ceramic area. Then, if a leak is identified during plastic bag checks, the "bad" cFPC
should be identified, eventually leak location properly documented, to eventually sent it back to vendor to have it repaired or replaced.

b) Incoming inspection in the cold ceramic area should be done after all external surfaces ( including cold ceramic protection cup and CF100 holes have been cleaned and checked) to be conform with external particulates requirements. This step is just before
inspecting the internal coupler volume. <br>

c) More details should be specified related with cold bellows inspections: SS transport protection should be removed, checked for particulate and should be damage free.</div>

d) If the two couplers (pair on the same test waveguide) passed incoming inspection requirements, storage options should be better specified: if the cold couplers are stored in the N2 cabinet, the cold ceramic projection cups should not be not installed. If
the cold couplers are stored on test stands ( this option is can be considered for a limited number of test stands ), the Pongy bolt, cold ceramic protection cup should be installed, there is a certain bolting pattern for CF100 flange, the internal coupler
volume as well as the cold ceramic cup should be kept under N2 over-pressure.</div>

e) Incoming inspection traveler should provide a link to vendors QA files. And these vendor QA files should be checked BEFORE the couplers are shipped to the partner labs. It was a common practice during XFEL as well as for LCLS-II coupler activities

f) Lets try to avoid using optional in incoming inspection wordings. Is a risky, confusing term. And FE onset is till not properly understood and under control. We have to collect, process and use as much data we can during incoming inspection work ( this
remark extend to SRF related activities, not only for power couplers).<br>

For sure there are more aspects to be considered. Have a look on the attached traveler / procedure, I developed based on my experience with couplers, in particular with LCLS-II couplers. There is a kind of order in performing incoming inspection on this type
of couplers, and my advice is to follow what we already know and have been proved to be adequate.</div>
