<p class="MsoNormal">Mircea forwarded me an email asking for help preserving the SN format for SNSPPU FPCs during the datamine export to excel. Some of the FPCSN's have a ##E### format, which excel seems to auto interpret as scientific notation. I cannot
find a way to have excel not change the value to scientific notation if it the pansophy automatically opens in excel. Can Pansophy datamine do one of the following?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in">Option 1: export as a txt (or csv) file. Then when the file is opened in excel, you have the option to format the column as text. This allows the current data to stay as-is.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in">Option 2: change the FPCSN to “FPC-##?###” (as an example – just adding something ahead of the SN that changes it enough that it doesn’t look like a scientific notation number) This may require that the data already
entered has to be updated to match.<o:p></o:p></p>
