srfinv & pansophy teams: can we amend the SECSN and RECSN for
PPU to have both the NB and SEC/REC SNs included? For example,
SECSN would have 001(2786), 002(2787) & 003(2788) for now.
Five more SECs will be added.<br>

<b>Subject:</b> SNS PPU SEC & REC serial numbers<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Hi
team,<br>
<br>
Steve Dutton brought to my attention that there is
confusion on the serial numbers of an end can. See
attached picture. On the name plate, there is a "S/N
2794". Then underneath the name plate, there is a serial
number "104210700-A001-0-002" that meets SRF PR-P-007
requirement. The former is actually a National Board S/N
that is required to show on the nameplate of an ASME
stamped vessel. The latter is what SRF PR-P-007 asks for.
<br>
<br>
To eliminate the confusion caused by dual S/N's for one
end can, can we amend the drop down lists for SECSN and
RECSN to have a compound serial number like 002(2794), or
some other concise but indicative number that carries both
NB S/N and SRF S/N? <br>
<br>
Thanks,<br>
Gary</span><o:p></o:p></p>
