You are correct that the change is small, but the previous version was in an older template that we missed with the R1. The current template isn’t perfect, and you pointed out some of the downsides to it. This is why we are working on a
new template that will have the headers and footers among other improvements. It’s not live yet though, so we have to use the current template for ISO compliance. The page breaks aren’t an issue though and can be modified if desired. That change was a result
of copying and pasting from one document to the other. Once the page breaks are how they should be if there are no other objections I will route for approvals.

Hi Allen – what does the latest template change? The primary change I see is that the headers and footers on the document have been deleted, which has shifted where the page breaks should be. I thought that
we were working on having a footer with a note that the printed copy is not controlled (as part of Valerie’s Document Management process). If the headers and footers can be left on, that would be great. I think it is very helpful to have the document ID
and the number of pages on the page. Is it possible to update the template to allow for the header and footer to remain on the document?

As for the approvers, just Ashley and I are correct. The document does not provide work instructions (like a procedure); it is only a listing of materials we use for chemistry and cleanroom. Ashley and I are
the only approvers just to prohibit anyone from being able to edit the document. If we have to add one more name, then I would suggest that we use Kirk since he is the group lead for the chemistry and cleanroom work centers.
