Could we put this procedure in one of our QMS templates? I believe the Pansophy Team could help you with this. That way it follows our ISO/QMS requirements (rev control) and then it can be stored as an SRF procedure in the VTA area (<a href="https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-52412" id="LPlnk300977">https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-52412</a>).</div>

Following the ISO certification last year, the N8482H power meters used for cable calibration (the one on the network analyzer cart) were labeled "Critical MTE". This means that the equipment should only be used if the calibration is up to date, and the sensor
functionality should be verified before it is used. Luckily, we already do this verification step at the start of cable calibration. Just write down the power reading after performing "Zero + Cal" on the power meter. I've attached a short list of steps detailing
precisely how to do this measurement, which will also be posted on the power meter.</div>

Going forward, there will be a new column on the VTA logbook kept by the PSS panel in the VTA control room.
<i>Whenever you perform a cable calibration before a cavity test</i>, please write down the measured value of the Power Reference in the notebook, along with the serial number of the power meter head.</div>
