years before being used, a "reject" final disposition may be the best option to quarantine it until ready for use. Then, when it is needed, it could be modified to conforming or use as is and the NCR could be re-opened with the reason documented in the final
disposition comment box. This is what we did for HE cavities that were saved as potential spares.</span></div>

>From what I understand, this inspection was above and beyond what was requested/needed for the initial serialization, so the traveler may need to be revised to make it clearer when a full inspection is needed (with NCRs written for non-conforming findings)
versus a quick or simple inspection (maybe with NCRs only on certain details like bad welds or a missing flange). It sounded like maybe only a final inspection should check all dimensions and the initial one may only need certain parts of the traveler filled
out. This would help with the numerous NCRs coming from inspections. Adding details or instructions to the traveler may help.</div>

I'm a bit hesitant/against completing this service request because the reasoning doesn't seem substantial enough. There is no where in the inspection traveler that states that NCRs are only to be opened on the final inspection. It is my opinion that these should
be dispositioned as "hold/modify" or "hold/re-measure". I have also consulted with and CC'd Ashley on this. Please let us know if you feel there is a valid reason for removing these NCRs</div>
