<p class="x_MsoNormal">Valerie – </p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">We need to upgrade the operating system in a few of our database servers and one of them is yours – pansophydb.jlab.org (dbl1.jlab.org, 129.57.35.134). The CNI group is trying to upgrade all the RHEL 7 machines to RHEL 8 since version
7 is no longer supported. We are tentatively planning this upgrade for morning of Saturday, Feb. 22<sup>nd</sup> .
</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">We have done the upgrade already on one of our dev database servers and it took about 2 hours so I think pansophydb would only be down for a bit – possibly sometime around noon (we have 2 other machines that are also getting done that
morning so yours may end up last).</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Is this OK with you? I’m not sure how much your systems get used on the weekends but I’m hoping that a couple hour outage wont be a big deal…</p>
