in the C100 cryomodules, but there are some in the F100 cryomodule. </span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">On a related note, I was able to chat with Ed Daly during the EIC wrap up this week and he gave me some useful insight into the fabrication process. Apparently, Calorstat partially hydroformed the bellows,
plated them, then finished hydroforming because of issues of throwing power of the internal plating process, as well as the brittleness/adhension issues associated with the UHV-grade RF copper plating. Technically, this makes sense to me, but is a major pain
from a supply chain perspective. Ed mentioned that Tiffany Gainey had apparently put a report together on refurb of the WGs and I think we will face to face with her this coming week to discuss.

I handled are F series. I think the best place to look to narrow this down would be the waveguide inspection travelers, which should document serial numbers and when we received (or at least inspected) them. AND I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS IF SRF WOULD STOP LOCKING

<p style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-size:13.0pt; font-family:"system-ui",serif; color:black">Megan McDonald is helping me conduct a post-mortem analysis on the recently completed C100R-03 cavity string assembly. This is the first hermetic C100
cavity string—a milestone largely attributable to improved lapping procedures for the cavity Nb55Ti flanges, the introduction of a fly-cutting operation on the small flange (enhancing flatness and surface finish), and the replacement of the knife-edge seal
on the waveguide warm window with an internal weld.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:12.0pt"><span style="font-size:13.0pt; font-family:"system-ui",serif; color:black">Anyways, I was hoping you could help me with a historical item related to the waveguides. While reviewing historical records of the, I noticed that there
were no “G” series waveguides installed in the original C100 CM builds, only “F”. However, these G serial numbers appear in the C100R builds. Based on older PRs related to Calorstat, it looks like two purchase requests were released in 2010—one by you and
one by Ed Daly—for additional waveguides (quantities of 58 and 12, respectively). I've compiled the details in the spreadsheet snip below for reference.</span></p>
