    Peppo production running ended at noon today and a series of
    systematic studies have been taking place since noon.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The BPM
    pedestal data and final PITA scans were completed first off.&nbsp;&nbsp; This
    was followed by an access to install the "E" counter, a large (but
    perhaps not large enough) plastic scintillator to measure the energy
    of the positron beam.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was discovered that the E counter pulse
    height increased with lower&nbsp; beam energy, and then by beam
    steering.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The present thought is that the positron energy is
    100% captured by the scintillator, perhaps due to the average beam
    location not quite at the center of the detector.<br>
    <br>
    Never the less,&nbsp; the Fiber Array studies will take place on Owl
    shift and if a larger crystal/scintillator can be found during
    Monday Day shift the energy measurements will resume.&nbsp;&nbsp; Below is the
    status of the "Systematic Studies" plan as of 20:19 this evening.<br>
