[Pol-exclusive] Eg1b Exclusive pi+ and pi- Analysis Note

Hi Peter:

I see that you are showing some EG4 data. Same here, I will include some of your plots for my updated note. Thanks for making them, although as a comparison most of my data points actually have larger error bars.

I have some questions:
1) In Fig.23, you showed both your ALU and my Ae results. I thought we were having some problems about extracting the proton ALU from ammonia, and that you said you would drop it from the note (that was in early spring). Did you solve that problem?

2) You mentioned disagreement with Sharon's results. Are you referring to Figs.27-30? In the caption you said the cyan points are Sharon's results from the SAME data set. I see that her results have much smaller error bars than yours and disagree with yours by a few sigma at some places. Is this the disagreement you meant?

3) Not related to your note, would you please point me to Raffaella's results so that I can make a couple of plots as the EG4 note review committee asked?

I will read through your notes. I am not sure I will have useful comments, but I am sure I will learn a lot.

BTW now I feel compelled to get the pi- results out, if it is only to check if they agree with yours.

Xiaochao

Subject: [Pol-exclusive] Eg1b Exclusive pi+ and pi- Analysis Note

Dear all,
I've finished working on my Analysis Note exclusive
pi+ and pi- electro-production spin asymmetries from eg1b.
The Note itself and links to the Appendices can be found at

http://www.jlab.org/Hall-B/secure/eg1/EG2000/Bosted/Exclusive/review.html

I would very much appreciate any feedback you might have.
In particular, if you can see why my results for pi- differ
from those of Sharon.

Also, would any of you be willing to serve on the Working Group
Review committee?
