Things Done During weekend
Remote Device Connection:
1. GPIB Bridge: the ethernet cable connection at the GPIB device end is loos, after switch to a better cable and tighten the connection with tapes, have not seen any problem
2. USB Bridge: seems as long as we do not Disconnect at the "AnaywhereUSB Remote Hub Configuration Utility", the connection will be good and stable.
Labview Enviroment:
1. Since we have multiple GPIB hubs, the address for GPIB VIs will be different for single GPIB hub connections, the naming rule will be x:xx instead of xx, x is the hub number xx is the GPIB address configured in the device.
2. The updated GPIB address list is located in the C:\TargetControl\VI\target_20191123_A1nD2n.reg of polhe4 computer, double click will update the value in Windows registry, right click and choose edit will list all the registry entries and keys.
Field:
1. Xinzhan calibrated the current and voltage the 'Agilent' 6675A power supply to Large Coils, the setting current is 5.23057 A while the measured current is 5.2328 A +-0.4mA, the voltage continuously rise from 14.810 V to 15.004 V over 6 hour period
2. Have implemented a Labview library for our BK 1901B power supplies, installed Labview Library for E3634A power supply added current set function in its Configure Output.vi. They have been tested and be able to be controlled through AnywhereUSB5 and GPIB ENET/1000.
3. Have written correction coils power supplies control program, can set and read back voltage and current and control output.
4. Our convection heater PS also use BK 1901B, will make a simple control program w/ input channels and can be used as subVI
EPR
1. Melanie have tested the program last week, the device communication is good
NMR
1. Created a new folder C:\TargetControl\VI\NMR_A1nD2n for NMR program and its subVIs
2. NMR program has been tested, the instruments communications are good. The latest version would be C:\TargetControl\VI\NMR_A1nD2n\NMR_FieldSweep_v14_A1nD2n.vi
3. Since there will be no vertical coil PS and vertical coil FG for analog control of power supply, deleted corresponding variables and codes in NMR_FieldSweep_v14_A1nD2n.vi and its subVI
4. Added NMR RF amplifier output control in NMR_FieldSweep_v14_A1nD2n.vi for reducing the background noise of pNMR signal
Laser:
1. Moved laser control computer close to laser racks, and relocated ethernet port, after that the computer do not have network connection
2. There are locks for Lock and Tag on the table of laser room, please grad one and put your name on it for each one with LOSP signature
3. polarizer software and hardware implemented, have not. Been tested. Will be a remote GUI and accessible through EPICS
VME in large shield area:
1. Fiber RTD readout and relay is ready only need wiring in short distance
2. Heater controller to EPICS is ready, need to connect airflow meter, thermocouple and oven RTD
Things to Do:
Field:
1. need to calibrate the current of another 6675A power supply
2. Change to Kepco power supplies, implement remote sensing in the coils
3. Calibrate the voltage settings for Kepco power supplies and implement remote control and analog control
NMR:
1. need to mount and connect every coils and instruments to do dry run without polarization signal
2. Now the program only reading one pumping chamber pick up coils pair, may need additional channel and display. But we do read only one pumping chamber pick up coils pair
EPR:
1. mount and connect the RF Coil
2. mount the D2 light collector
3. Final test with everything connected
pNMR:
1. Test the program
2. calibrate the system with the new pick up coil
Heating system:
1. Connect and test the oven heating
2. Get Cell RTDs ready and connect to the VME
Reference cell and cooling jet:
1. Need to be connect to VME in Large Shield Area and calibrate the reading
Miscs.:
1. Laser Spectrometer: need to test existing Labview driver, need to install the fibers and spectrometer in Hall
2. Test the space and temperature of the bunker, may need to use L shaped AC cords and BNC connectors
