Follow the on-screen instructions - you should "join meeting", not "start" or "schedule your meeting". Using a computer to connect will allow you to see images from other participants and hear sound on your computer's loudspeakers. If you have a video camera (built-in or hooked up to your computer), others will be able to see you. You can share your screen or specific applications with the rest of the audience and see screens shared by others. You must have a microphone (built in or hooked up to your computer) to communicate. Ideally, you should use headphones (with integrated mike if possible) to reduce feedback; alternatively, you can mute your microphone when you are not talking.
