Dear all,

I saw the presentation given by Xinzhan about the effect of GEM
resolution to the vertex reconstruction and background study. I would
like to point you back to the older studies we did in 2014 which led us
to the decision of using GEM. One purpose to avoid Xinzhan and other
students to duplicated the effort and repeat the studied which Chao Peng
and other has done, and the other purpose is to refresh our memory about
the issues when the resolution is poor and how we proposed to address
the issues. It might give us some new idea about how to understand solve
the current issue of poor vertex reconstruction.

First discussion of the Q2 resolution vs position resolution.
