Subject: [Cuga] CEBAF FY25 Scheduling Memo- A message from Douglas Higinbotham
Dear Jefferson Lab Users,
Attached is the FY25 scheduling memo with a start date for the experimental program of March 7th. We are planning to bring the halls up in a slightly staggered fashion, so please check the detailed day-by-day schedule at the end of memo for exact starting days for your hall(s). This year we will be running all four experimental halls and we are increasing the gradient of the CEBAF accelerator from 1047 MeV/linac to 1060 MeV/linac. The current expectation is that we will run for 25 weeks of physics, though a final budget has not yet been passed for this fiscal year. Also shown is the tentative plan for FY26 which also assume 25 weeks of physics running. It is worth noting, that all experiments must pass their Experimental Readiness Reviews (ERR) and have all required documentation in order to run.
Most Sincerely,
Douglas
