Dear all,
I have finished running some GEM efficiency simulation files during the holiday. You can find the files here on ifarm: /volatile/hallb/prad/xiongw/GEM_eff_file
Or on Duke disk: /var/phy/project/mepg/wx19/GEM_eff
The folder should include 8 different configurations:
1.
"default" with the default PRad2 setting, with 4cm gas target profile, and two plane of GEMs (with made of 2 different chambers)
2.
"carbon" with the same configuration as (1) but with a 1um carbon foil target
3.
"GEM_rot_default" with the 4cm gas target, but with the downstream GEM plane rotated by 90 deg.
4.
"GEM_rot_carbon" with the 1um carbon foil target, but with the downstream GEM plane rotate by 90 deg.
5.
"Three_GEM_default" with 4cm gas target, and another GEM plane inserted between the 1st and 2nd GEM plane
6.
"Three_GEM_carbon" with 1um carbon target, and another GEM plane inserted between the 1st and 2nd GEM plane
7.
"Three_GEM_rot_default" with 4cm gas target, and the newly added third GEM rotated by 90 deg
8.
"Three_GEM_rot_carbon" with the 1um carbon foil target, and the newly added third GEM rotate by 90 deg.
When you use the files, make sure you check whether the simulation files make sense. For example, when you use GUN.Z, it should show a 4cm uniform distribution for the gas target, and 1um uniform distribution for the carbon target. And also make sure you check if the number of GEM plane are correctly correspond to the configuration and whether they are properly rotated. If you have any questions, please let me know.
